‘build me a home’ is constructed from stitched, repurposed Brennan’s bread wrappers, bound together with gathered everyday household objects and suspended within the playground. This project was site specific to the newly developed Bridgefort Street Park in The Liberties, Dublin 08, an area shaped by the promise of play, community, and accessibility.
The work is a reflection on contemporary crises that demand our attention. An unravelling tale of our experiences with home.
This piece insists on being encountered, interpreted, and absorbed, standing as a testament of resilience and the enduring weight of collective experiences.
